5 Things I hate about my Gen 3

Here is my #1 complaint, drive mode are not saved. As the customer, WHY do I need to re-setup drive modes every time I start the truck. What a stupid design, the product manager clearly doesn't understand their customers.

I just haven't had time to go look up how to save them. Now you're telling me you can't save them? That's ridiculous

If you If you press the gear button the setting button on the YouTube video you can select the speed to 1.5 and now you're 12 minute video there's a 6 minute video, you're welcome

Uh, I'm far from a math genius but something doesn't add up here. Maybe if you click the gear button and select 2x speed a 12 minute video becomes 6 minutes. 1.5 will become a 9 minute video if my lousy math skills don't deceive me.

Oh, and if drive modes not being saved are your number one complaint, it ain't so bad. I only experienced that when towing and it's a PIA to remember to put it back in tow mode after turning engine off and back on.

But I think that's the case in every vehicle I've owned. None of my Porsches retain Sport or Sport+.

I've heard that it's an EPA thing. But I heard it on the internet so it's probably wrong. Tow mode and off-road modes? They should be sticky. Sport mode? It makes a small amount of sense from the EPA throne. Very small, but still.

Some like it shiny, some like it dull. The weave on those interior pieces look nothing like most common 2x2 twill matte finish as most people would recognize. So this weave looks plainly uncommon. It’s also a very dry matte finish. I remember A Ford engineer commenting, that we wanted to bring the Gen 3 back to more of its off road purpose or at least something to this extent. So flashy CF is gone! Obviously.

Drive mode memory between starts? Lol This goes back to the Gen 2 and why just why won’t Ford let it remember. I guess it goes back to mpg’s and emissions and safety???

I think it’s cool how you can adjust the shocks and the truck retains that setting, along with the steering.

No, (driver memory mode) this goes back to the gen 1, you put it in any of the modes and it resorts to the normal setting, ie: sport mode, etc. I know some of you weren't born yet when the gen 1 came out, but it still had some tech, lol.

Everyone is a critic. Especially those who have no appreciation for how hard it is to make a quality video.

few months back I spent the ungodly sum of 8 LARGE on the newest 83” Sony OLED. It replaced a five year old 86” LG LCD which was impressive size-wise but picture quality sucked.

Wtf does that have to do with anything? Other than watching an occasional movie, my wife watches sports on it while I stare at my 12” iPad and watch YouPorn. I’m a YouPorn addict.

One kind of video I don’t bother to watch is the 5 or 10 things I hate.

And I’m not criticizing the OP at all.

But to me they are usually a bunch of BS and solely to drive clicks.

As for CF, the CF on my Gen2 looks like cheap shiny plastic. I’ve yet to see it on the Gen3. Take a look at a CF interior I had on my Porsche Macan Turbo. Nice, tight twill, not shiny, and as real as it gets.
But in the scheme of things, who gives a sheyatt about that.

Uh, yea you're correct, I didn't really give it much thought but now that I have a 12 minute video would take about 8 minutes not 9.

12/1.5 = 8

I was at 16.9 on my 6500 mile round trip to Idaho from NY in September. But once we got into Montana where speed limit was 80 that dropped a bit
