OK .. My tunes were preloaded.

Backing up your tunes is NOT obvious because the process of uploading a new tune backs up your stock tune. This UI needs to be improved.

I just installed an 87 econ tune and I must admit the process was a bit nerve racking. The dash came on and off several times with warnings like hill decent error and traction control fault. And my radio even came on but there was no signal so I just heard static.

When the process was complete, I put my key in and turn it into the on position and I saw a strange error on my radio. It read SYNC ... updating. I am not sure why sync was updating. Also I have my seat and steering wheel set and the tune seem to have erased my presets. I don't get it.

I plan to go driving in an hour so I hope all is well.

Yeah...The tunes should be preloaded...Plug it up and backup your stock tune to the SCT and load a custom tune...

Which Tunes did you opt for?

Let us know what you think after the install?

So I drove my truck tonight for about 60 miles and the 87 Econ tune is AWESOME! On a scale of 1-10 ... 10 being the best throttle response, I think the stock tune is about 2-3 while the 87 economy is a 7-8. The change was very noticeable. I would assume the 87 performance is even better and the 93 performance must be crazy. I plan to run the 87 Economy for a few miles then try the 87 performance.

Some observations, My truck has always had a very low idle but with the tune my idle is up 200-250 rpms. The engine just seem more alive.

btw, my tune took away my gear selection display. I am not sure how to get back. GRRRR!

Press the up or down buttons on the shifter as if you were going to shift in manual mode and the display will come back on...

Glad you like the tune...i run the 93 performance and it is great...
