Keep in mind the tunes do not add any HP, they just make the current HP more usable and more immediate so theoretically all the other parts were designed to handle the stock HP. As for exhaust and intake, i don't want to start a debate on power gains with those items but i wouldn't think you're affecting reliability with those mods. I could see the spinny parts wearing out faster due to the quicker throttle response but i think that would be minimal.
I've had a 5 star tune for several years and a Banks Pedal Monster and no issues so far. I did have issues with the pedal commander malfunctioning and kicking me into limp mode but the Banks model seems to have addressed that issue.
