What do you think guys? The factory seat belt system doesn't really hold me in the seat the way I'd like. I don't have much experience with harness setups so I'm trying to learn something here. Didn't turn up much in the forum search or Google.

That's a good question and you would think there are some harness setups available for stock seats.

I'm sure some of the other guys will chime in who have more knowledge on the topic.

You don't really want to do this without a roll cage. If the truck would roll over and crush the cab, you have no way of laying down sideway in time. You would end up either severely hurt or dead because the 5 point keeps you upright at all times. With the 3 point seat belt system, at least you can get yourself lower if needed. I don't think this is a good idea without a roll cage.

On a stock truck do not use a 5-point harness. There is no way to properly mount them. At a minimum you will need a harness bar which on a Scab will be a challenge. A Screw not too bad for a harness bar. Mounting points are very critical.

^^^ This. Better off keeping the factory belts or doing a cage.

I have a cage being put in. Sparco seats, harnesses, long travel. The usual.
