Yeah D3S is not that great of a bulb, you get better performance from D1S,D2S.

Yep! My Thoughts as well. I wish Ford woulda thought that one out. The output coulda been a great bit better. Kinda reminds me of Apple engineering, LoL.
But I'm sure the OEM market (phillips, ect..) will catch up sooner than later. Bulbs are really new along with design.

How much are the 2013 OEM lights for straight out purchase? Are they for sale on the open market, or just a select few like Ducati (people with connections)? It sound like the PNP solution is still worth the wait.

You can find them on ebay, again its just the headlight, no ballast, bulbs or harness.

It is quite the process piecing these things together. But it is most definitely PNP after you have all the parts.
