[Raptor Retrofit]

Any thoughts on what these would look like in Oxford White? I really want something that works the best for my white Raptor. Sexy, mean, but not completely out of place.

Have you done any white Raptors yet? What has looked the best?

I think I'm about a week or two out from ordering a set from the master!!

Actually I have a build coming up with gunmetal reflectors, white bezel and white shroud, should turn out pretty kick ass. Ill have some pics up in a few days.

Duc, thanks again for the paint link! I cant wait to paint my mud flaps to match the Carbon fenders now! Was going to convert everything to black but the fenders match too well with the OEM decals in the sun. Don't wanna throw the decals off.
I know a lot of guys have mud flaps and I'm sure the off black to carbon is just as irritating to them as it is to me.

..........Can't wait to see the white! I have a buddy with a white 13' on order that isn't a hands on type of guy as far as modding goes. Yesterday he seen all my retro parts come in so I told him that he might be able to send you his lights and u could custom paint, swap to clear lenses maybe, add a spacer for more color, and your brilliant LED rings. Would you be up to this kind of job at a much later date?? (when u have time for sure)
He isn't a forum member, but he has seen plenty of your work via pics stored in my iPad....

Thats cool, so your buddy has a 13 with HID's on order ? For sure, I could help him out. I plan on getting a set for myself as soon as they are available to see what kind of upgrades I can do. You are correct though, 2013 oem's will have a fresnel lens which will blur the cutoff, Im sure a clear lens swap will be possible.

Yea buddy! You'll still have your hands full with the 13's after u post the difference a clear lense makes to EVERY projector out there OEM. After I explained to him why I didn't opt for a 13' with HID's. He much more understands the niche behind why we like to spend the dough on retrofitting head lights either Professionally or DIY. Not to mention the Led light rings that's a pro to modding the already OEM projector lights. .but I can still imagine the MH1's out performing the 13's HID's.

That would be awesome to see how these turn out. If they are nice, then maybe that's what I'll order as well.

Yes, white heads on a white Raptor. I was asking if he had done the same color matching on a white truck. I would never put orange headlights on my white Raptor.

Ducati understood what I meant and responded.
