I see some 2013 hybrids down the line with LS460s. Damn you Dawson. Not that i didnt already know the LS460 was better but those hybrids made my pantsget shorter. Maybe after February if someone wants my lights I can snag those hybrids from you.

That being said. I don't have a single complaint about the FX-R though. I keep adjusting them down frome people flashing me. The distance is fantastic with the 50w bulbs and ballast. But knowing there's something better out there....

So your 2013's have FX-R's Retro'd in? I was under the impression they had the EVOX-R's in them.

EvoX not FX-R in Sterlings.

Claustin, if you really like that look you can send me your 460's and purchase a set of 2013's and Ill combine the 2. Your talking big bucks though... all just for that inner shroud part.

My bad. EvoX. I was originally going to so FXRs in a 09-12 build but I wanted the horizontal bars and the 2013s are perfect for those.

How good is the EVOX low beam without your fogs? i have read mixed reviews on the low beam and nothing but praise for the high beam.

I'm not sure what it's like with the 35w ballast/bulb combo and maybe that's where people have complaints. (just speculation) With my set-up there is great distance but lacks a little width if I had to make one complaint. Low beam reaches for a solid 3/4 mile- 1mile. Maybe more if you've got the right situation. And umm yeah that high beam. When I installed them I blinded myself when I flipped the highs on and went around to check to see if they were on.... This was around 2pm with lots of sun. I had to wait about 20sec before I could get back to work. I plan on doing a install write up and review when I get back from my ski trip. That way I've got 2 good night trips to review them. So far damn these things are long.

Low Beams

High Beam (Nothing to reflect off of.)

These things are so long that in a dark area they reach a solid 3/4 of a mile. Just need something to reflect off to show it. Road sign light up 1+miles away.

And the money shot.
