If I add 4" to mine, I wouldn't fit in my garage's anymore.
*I'm on my second Raptor (I still have the first). My 2010 is a somewhat rare (at the time) 6.2. Super Cab (before there was a "crew cab" option), loaded. The one thing it didn't have when I found it, was a back-up camera (At the time the standard back-up camera screen was pretty cool. It was a little screen in the rear-view mirror. Not sure if Ford still does that.) so the dealer I bought it from had it wired into the navigation screen. Does Ford even have mirror screens in any of their cars anymore???
Anyway...That truck was 100% my wife's vehicle. We live in the city and it replaced her X5. It was shortly after the economy tanked so I figured it would look better if she got a pickup truck and didn't re-up with another BMW type ride. People are funny, they see a BMW and think "wow, they must be rich!", but a pickup truck looks more like a step down, lol. More humble. In reality that truck was the baddest ************ to be had, and I knew that in a few short years I'd be able to keep the truck and she could get back to driving some cushy German something.
She really didn't know what I had gotten her in to. Remember when the Raptor first came out? What a bad-ass truck. Nobody had really seen one, so she was constantly getting "thumbs up", etc. while using it to retrieve groceries, and haul kids. Eventually the economy bounced back, I kept the truck, and she's in an S7.
Point of my ramble is that NOBODY gets to decide what we do with our Raptors. WHO THE **** PUT YOU IN CHARGE OF WHAT IS COOL AND WHAT ISN'T!??
If someone wants to pimp their ride, and it has NOTHING to do with "what it was designed for", or the way YOU use your truck, and YOU don't approve...SUCK *****, *******!
