Hi all first post. Recently bought Gen 3 live valve take offs so that I can put them on my Gen 2 (with e-click). I was researching the part #s to try and determine if I bought 35 or 37 shocks but ran into an issue.

All 4 shocks start with RL and this yields nothing for my research. As far as I can tell Gen 3 shocks start with ML. Can anyone enlighten me on the part numbers?

*Edit: adding part #s for the shocks I have
RL3V18B060
RL3V18B061
RL3V18W002
RL3V18W003

Question in line with this topic, if needed I can start a new post so as to not highjack from OP. I’ve tried searching but can’t find a definitive answer.

TLDR: Are Gen 3 live valve shocks plug and play backwards compatible with Gen 2 live valve trucks?

I have a 2019 Gen 2 that’s due for shock rebuild. I found some low mileage take offs from a 2023 Gen 3 local to me. Will Gen 3 take offs work for my Gen 2 live valve? Can I plug in the live valves, reset ride height and be good to go? Do I have to go to e-click if I put Gen 3 lives valves on my Gen 2 live valve truck?

All I can find is that (maybe) the fronts will work, but not the rears due to different travel length. If that’s the case, is it a bad call to put Gen 3 live valves up front and rebuild my Gen 2 rear lives? Seems like different valving might upset the suspension. Price wise it’s close to a wash, but one prevents me from having the truck down during the rebuild…

Based off this they will bolt up

No information on if they will work fine with the OEM gen 2 LV tuning. I have a 2018 so I’ll be going with the full SDI kit.
