I just ordered a 2019 Raptor and I am going to put Vorsteiner 601 wheels which are 9 inch wide and +12 offset. I am going to level the truck. I am debating if I should go with 35s or the metric version which is a little taller and wider but still lighter as the metric version if rated E while the 35 version is F.

I do not tow anything more than a quad so do not need the F rated version. I do drive on the beach a lot and figure a wider tire would float better on sand.

Am I missing anything I should consider? Seems like I should definitely get the bigger and lighter tire which for me would have no downside. The 35 is 73 pounds while the 325 is 69 while slightly less than an inch wider and taller.

you want 35x12.50x20

its a higher ply tire and deeper tread depth and the 325 will rub inner fender

Tires that I have are Mastercraft Courser MXT’s. Lighter than the Nittos (and a lot less expensive). They are made by Cooper.

Looks great. Is yours magnetic or lead foot. I just ordered magnetic and considering the tungsten and black. Is the tungsten too much grey?

Leadfoot

My wheels are the Carbon Graphite which matches up to the trim nearly perfectly. From what I hear, the newer Tungsten finish is very slightly different but close.

Big reason I bought the VR wheels is because I’m tired of black wheels and the gray is perfect.

I want these exact same tires. Is your truck lifted, if not, how tall does your truck stand with this setup. Thanks in advance!

No lift - Picture above was the stock ride height.

The truck height sits just like it did stock as the 35x12.50R20 is almost the same outside diameter as the stock tires.

I was just asking on another thread. This tire (metric) happens to be the same one Nick from Apollo Optics chose for the same reason (slightly larger tire). I understand the tread depth is less, but can you tell that visually by looking at the two tires side by side?

I’d say neither. My bros 17 had the 315 trail grappler. His 19 has the stock bfg 315. These trucks prefer the stock tires or something close to it size and weight wise. Just my .02 cents.
