I'm waiting for some real world results within the next 6-8 months. I won't be placing an order til next year but on the fence if I want 37's or not. I know the 35's are plenty capable and more than enough ground clearance I just really like the look of the 37's but I wish they had different gearing than the 35's as well. Also I might just go with the 35's if they still force the blue interior with the 37's next year.
The blue interior was a big reason for me to order the 35's.... just don't understand Ford locking that in

I would also say that is my main reason as well, the MPG honestly I could live with. Also probably some FOMO affecting me as well. I own a 2020 Subaru STI right now as well, this will be only my 2nd truck ever (I had a tacoma years ago). So in my head I feel like 35's are gonna be perfectly capable for anything I would wanna do which is gonna be a lot more overlanding/offroading compared to high speed desert ****. I've never been in a truck with tires this big.

I was initially concerned about the blue interior as well based on the computer generated depictions, but the pictures that were posted of the 37 package in PA put my mind at ease. The blue looks to be closer to a dark navy than anything else.

if it looks anything like this video it was hard no for me... but I'm not a fan of blue interior no matter the shade

According to this:

The 37s are better for slow speed off-road and the 35s for the fast paced…

Based on interviews with Ford engineers, the website advises that the 35-inch tires are better for high-speed off-roading, while the 37-inch tires are better for driving over large obstacles at slower speeds.

I don’t know how much off roading you guys plan on doing, but 37” will have a notably negative affect on felt performance. The reason I didn’t order them.
example: two almost identical Chevy Duramax pickups one hd2500 on 20” and one hd3500 on 18”, both crew cabs. The hd3500 on 18” is notably quicker. It takes surprisingly more power to turn those taller tires. 510 ft lb of torque ain’t that much to waist pushing taller tires that will be on the black top 99.9% of the time.

Raptor 37’s bfg tires are not much heavier than 35’s. You will not notice the difference. Have you noticed all the advertisement videos ford has posted has been the 37 truck

You mention the rim size but you don’t mention the tire size or which load each set of tires was. Even if they were exactly the same tire size but the 20” had a mud terrain load E while thr 18” had a regular C or D range that will also have a huge effect. There’s as much as 20-25lbs difference per tire just in the same size depending on load range, tread patterns and just different build materials. Rim size isn’t going to be the deciding factor. Going from 35s to 37s on the raptor it’s barely 1 lb more per tire. While it will have an effect, it’s going to be ever so slightly and you may not even notice it.
