Guys, let's face it, Brad may be the first guy to pop up on this forum who's done this, but he probably won't be the last. You and I may not like it, but let's not trash the guy for it. He has just as much right as any of us to be here. Brad KNEW most of us wouldn't like his choice, he said as much in his original post. Would I do what he did? Absolutely not, I'm an offroader. But seeing as how he knew he'd get blasted and had the balls to post this up anyway I'm going to go to bat for him.

I'm not suggesting you have to like what he did, but I would appreciate it if you guys would take it easy on him.

agreed!
Like I said in my earlier post, he had balls to post it, and I respect him and his ride due to that simple fact! Honestly it doesn't look as bad as I thought it would.

Im gonna respect him as well for doing what he likes. Glad we have a great group of people here that welcome him in. Brad may expand our knowledge in areas that we typically wouldn't go. We could benefit from this if we are ever at a show or around other vehicles with similar mods. Atleast we have been exposed to it and can relate. To each their own. I just hope he supercharges it for the street.

Its ok

No worries, if i was going to let every little opinion bother me, i wouldn't be where i am today. It really has been insane. People love this more than I ever imagined, i can't even get gas in Socal without answering 10 questions, and letting people take pics. Then again, I'm in socal, where its a little more liberal, than say the backwoods of Alabama. Don't get me wrong, I grew up 20yrs in Nebraska, so Im familiar with the off road truck personality. Also, to go offroading (something i have never done.) Don't I need to put about 10-20k worth of upgrades to really go offroading?

Not at all. Stock is more than enough. Sure, there are tons of things you can do to make it better, but stock all you need. The majority of the guys at the Texas Raptor Run were stock and had a blast.
