My truck has just over 20K on it an I chose to change all the fluids in the drive train. Everything except antifreeze was changed and flushed when appropriate. Nobody sold me on this I chose to since I have done a good amount of hard off road driving including a few deep water crossings.

Truck shifts smoother now and I gained some peace of mind. Purchased all the fluids from Chris. Let my dealer do the work since they asked to and owed me a favor.

The other services they want to sell you seem a bit off. Oh and we don't have a cabin air filter but there is a filter for each of the seats.

I gave it some more thought, and went back to talk to a dealer. The book says 100K miles for some of these fluids, and that's great the manual says that. I am not comfortable with using the same transmission fluid that long. Call me old fashioned.

So I guess you don't have to change it if you don't want to, but I want to. I will make me feel better. And this is all about making ME feel better, the heck with the book. :D

So off to find the seat air filters...
