as far as building the raptor vs f150...
lets not forget what the raptor is, it is an f150 with different options...same cab, same frame...

and it seems that the first thing everyone wants to do is replace most of those options that make a raptor, a raptor....

suspension, fiberglass, etc...

the biggest difference that could be argued would be the 6.2 motor..
is there a huge difference in performance over the 5.4?
realistically, no.. either motor could be built up if desired...
(i would actually prefer the newer 5.0 over the 6.2)

in the end, it all really depends on what goals you have for your build..
the more involved you plan on getting with your build, the more it might make more sense starting w/ an f150 (from a cost standpoint)

Drty, you make a good point for sure. If you're going to do a balls-out build like you did, buying an F150 is definitely the better way to go.

It's all personal preference. Even if I get the RPG stage 4 on mine eventually, I'll still be happy I went Raptor since it's my dream vehicle.

Sick ass build by the way! Can't wait to see some videos of it in action.

When will you have some video clips/links for us to check it out in action maybe?!

P.S. And what about a HOW TO on that front end /suspension setup you have here?! ;- )

The car actually tracks very well, the cg is more towards the rear and the vertical fin and aero package help this as well. You should see this thing run thru s turns!! Its amazing..
