I’m thinking the more likely concern is that gen four will be a body/cab refresh only. Keep it cheap by sharing parts and save all of that R&D and testing money. The real concern is that Ford will downgrade the stuff we can't see on the next gen to maximize profit. Right now, they are saving a few pennies simplifying button modules and reducing the number of SKUs by ditching model specific logos on some shared parts. It is a little irritating, but the changes are pretty minor and don't really impact my enjoyment of the truck.
Bronco also kept the digital temp display on the dialsWhy does the Bronco Raptor get to keep the Raptor key fob and Red strip on steering wheel for 2025?
For those of us pre-refresh and QA failure, its a pretty easy swap.Bronco also kept the digital temp display on the dials
This is a common trend among most manufactures these days.Well if the manufacture keeps cutting cost by removing options to a point, Raptors will lose their appeal. I had a F150 STX 5.0 and I keep telling myself is a Raptor worth the +$45K upcharge? STX 5.0 is a Great truck!
Based off the direction they are going removing the Torsen diff, Red strip on steering wheel, blank space above the screen, door key code, less interior ambient lighting, interior seating getting cheaper (should be upgraded) just to name a few. It will get to a point they will lose their market to a competitor.
