Well I was hoping these deleted/moved around features were only limited to the 2025 F-150s and not Raptors but I was wrong. Here’s a 2025 F-150 Raptor. So far here’s what changed so far:

-Door keypad no longer factory installed; optional and only dealer installed.

-Auto Start/Stop button moved to headlight switch knob, therefore Pro Power and tailgate button is deleted/removed.

-Top buttons above infotainment screen moved down to volume knob, therefore your screen off button and 2 other buttons are deleted. There’s now a large blank plate in place of the top bar (above infotainment) where those buttons used to be.

Brutal, that blank looks awful.

I also was wondering if they really blacked out the front marker lights they showed in all the production pictures, doesn’t look like it - happy I went with a ‘24.

Meh... The top buttons are covered up by my phone most of the time, which sucks when I want to use the trailer cam. That is not a hill I would die on.

The rest of the stuff I don't use anyway, other than the keypad. Them's fighting words!

FYI - When I was debating on getting the 25 (went with a 24), the keypad was a deal breaker for me. However I started looking into the possibility of using the 21-24 pillar with keypad, but then just got a 24 so I stopped investigating. However for those that get a 25, look into maybe seeing if you can just buy the pillar with keypad and maybe you can get it to work (not sure about wiring)

I do not get the draw. In 8 years I have yet to use the key pad on the door. It’s strange the “little things” that tend to make or break a buy for us.

I think for me it was the ’21+ marrying of the tailgate step to the moon roof. I’ve only had one problem with the moon roof - which was MY lack of maintenance. It would be nice if Ford had called out that you need FREQUENT maintenance on a moon roof this big but by ’18 or ’19 when I broke mine I could easily have paid attention to the legions of posts about it.. My bad. Still, I don’t use it, didn’t want it to begin with, it’s noisy, heavy and I don’t want it in my next Rap.

That pushed off my thoughts about a new Rap. I did look at a ’24 and they now give you the step without moonroof again, but I gotta agree, that screen dash button blank section looks dumb.

What’s the big deal with the door key pad though?

All the Ford's I've ever owned I have never used the key pad, just my phone. I could see it being a plus if I needed to lock everything in my truck and not having a phone on me to go biking etc.

Ford's answer to the dealer installed peel & stick key pay is unacceptable for the price of their vehicles. My vote would be to just add more to the cost or delete it.
