2024 to 2025 F-150 Raptor changes

New here but hoping to become part of the group!
I am in the market for a 801a Raptor, and are trying to figure out what the differences are between 2024 and 2025. I haven't found any conclusive documentation, so hopefully we can put our heads together here.
Here's what I've found when comparing the ordering guide from both years:
  • Running boards
    • 2024 – “Cast-Aluminum Running Boards”
    • 2025 – “Unique Off-Rad Style Running Boards”
  • Advanced Driver Assistance Systems
    • 2024 – “Adaptive Cruise Control” (only)
    • 2025 – Ford CO-PILOT360 Assist 2.0 + “360-Degree Camera”, “Adaptive Cruise Control”, “AEB Oncoming”, “Driver State Detection”, “Evasive Steering Assist”, “Front Parking Sensors”
  • SecuriCode Wireless Keyless Entry Keypad, Driver’s side (Dealer Installed Option)
    • 2024 – Not on option. Included with all cars by window.
    • 2025 – This is now a $225 option, but also installed on door side.
  • Spare Tire Lock (Dealer Installed Option)
    • 2024 – This is not an option.
    • 2025 – This is now a $80 option.
  1. Visually on build website, I can't see any difference between the running boards. Can anyone confirm if there are?
  2. For the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, are these all new items for 2025, or where they already part of 2024, just not listed in ordering guide?
  3. For the SecuriCode Keypad, is there any immediate use for this nowadays when we already have keyless entry and can unlock the car with phone app?
  4. The Spare Tire Lock, if this is to lock the spare tire from being stolen, it really seems like something that is necessary. Was this already included in 2024 model as standard?
  5. I am also wondering if Ford would ever disclose what mechanical differences they are otherwise making to the truck, such as drivetrain changes or others? For example, changing exhaust, powertrain components, changing materials in engine or others.
  6. Cosmetic differences, I haven't found any documentation of either exterior or interior (excluding the SecuriCode Keypad which will be visual differences)

Copilot is pretty freakin’ awesome. Unfortunately, it brings with it the “driver state detection” aka, the nagging “keep your hands on the wheel” alert every 30 seconds. I have this in my ’24 Dark Horse, and copilot is impressive. I could do without the hands on the wheel alert. apparently it works on rotational input to the wheel, which is a bit of a chore on really long straightaways.

Otherwise, it’s cool they finally brought this set of features to the Raptor.

Evasive steering assist sounds scary. My collision warning(2020) is too sensitive. When I set up to pass, it freaks out. The last thing I want is it yanking the wheel.

The door keypad is a must. I use it all the time. This morning for some reason my 24 would not respond to the fob but did after a restart. The spare tire lock came with my 2022 Tremor but not my 24 Raptor. More worried about them stealing the whole truck so I got the top of the line club after a Range Rover was stolen from my safe neighborhood. Make sure you get one without the moonroof, nobody uses it and it leaks rattles and causes problems. Seems my 24 has all the driver assist features listed for the 25. Prolly no major mechanical changes which is good, nobody wants first year design changes. If there were big changes I'm sure they would say so as a selling point.

For the SecuriCode Keypad, is there any immediate use for this nowadays when we already have keyless entry and can unlock the car with phone app?
I use it daily, had it on all my F150's. Once you have it you'll always want this - for all your vehicles. So many examples, here are random 2:

Example 1: need sunglasses from the truck? Don't bother to grab the key or use your phone, just walk up, type your code then close and lock it with key pad pressing 8 & 0. It's great not relying on phone or taking your keys out.

Example 2: your hands are greasy diesel dirty because your 2003 New Holland stopped running again, so you use your knuckle to press the code so you can open the tailgate or open the door because you remembered you left your extra 30amp fuses in there (yeah, open the door by grabbing the handle with 2 closed fists - it works.)

I’m also wondering as is the original poster, is the system on the 25 any different than the 24 models, or just an expanded explanation of the system?

+1 on the keypad. When I hike I lock my keys in the console vault. I’m often outside of cellular coverage. Hiding the keys under a rock is so 1980. :)

I am so anxious with electronic or battery issue that each time I use keypad , I take in my pocket or bag, the "extra "metal key which is in the gloves box from dealer or factory...:happy175:
It's not a big deal if I loose it and cheap to build again.
I must trust electronic, I must trust electronic, I must..........Ok, next time , I let everything in the truck...
