I'd be surprised if it did. Supercharged Mustangs didn't cannibalize the gt500.Would cannibalize the R.

Supercharged, no it wouldn’t be slow. But there’s no way it would beat the R with the same level of reliability.
But using the 5.0 they put in the Tremor, which is what I thought you meant, it would be slow as hell.
You’re taking it in the wrong context. I mean market-space. They are not going to sell two supercharged 700hp raptors side by side.I'd be surprised if it did. Supercharged Mustangs didn't cannibalize the gt500.
No, I don't expect them too. I can see them offering the 5.0 in a Raptor and if you want, buy the ford performance supercharger kit designed for the engine. It covers a wide range of f-150's with the 5.0. People could right now order a Tremor with the 5.0 and get this FP supercharger kit. All I'm saying is why not offer the 5.0 option in a Raptor. Make it one of 3 choices. I feel the more options the better. You’re taking it in the wrong context. I mean market-space. They are not going to sell two supercharged 700hp raptors side by side.
You can’t just slap a S/C kit on a 5.0 and expect it to do what an R can. That kit is a serious compromise in the reliability and long term durability of the engine, which is why it only comes with a 3 year 36k warranty that is back-dated to the original vehicle sale date:No, I don't expect them too. “This Performance Packs and Components Limited Warranty begins upon installation and registration of the part(s) with Ford Performance and remains in effect for the balance of 36 months or 36,000 miles / 60,000 kilometres, whichever occurs first, calculated from the start date of the manufacturer's New Vehicle Limited Warranty”
The warranty coverage is capped at a total of $11,500. So $7500 for the engine, $2000 for the transmission, and $1000 for the rear axle. You aren’t getting any of those components repaired or replaced for those prices at the dealer.
There is a reason the R is so expensive, it’s engineered to pass all OEM durability and longevity requirements, even at maximum GCWR with a trailer. Even being factory engineered for forced induction, they still had to back the power down from 760 to 700 from a car application to a truck application.
