True! I spoke to my dealer today and they have no idea on allocations yet. He said you can build and that’s about it.

You get HUD in all modes they were just highlighting the fact that each mode has a different designed display for each mode. My BMW is the same way for sports mode etc. it’s a cool option

Is there a spec sheet that says it? Just struck me as weird that it literally says Baja heads up display rather than just advertise there’s a heads up display

Sounds like Bluecruise still hasn’t made its way to the Raptor. For the cost of these trucks, I can’t see why.

I don’t know how I feel about BlueCruise. My wife’s Escalade has SuperCruise, which I found to be pretty nice. However, the other day I was driving on the highway and there was a slight S turn, nothing crazy, and the damn thing almost killed me. Swerved hard left into another lane and I couldn’t stop it, then swerved hard back right into another lane. It was wild. Had there been other cars next to me it would have been a major problem.

And yes I was paying attention and ready to take over, but it didn’t matter. I couldn’t stop the steering wheel from turning.

None of these systems are too perfection yet, but some work pretty well. Ford has started out conservative and has brought it up to a good level with BC 1.3

I’m pretty much just saying it’s an option on F-150, so why not Raptor? What’s the issue? Yeah it’s an off road truck that spends a lot of time on roads too.

Yeah I get it. I had a Platinum for a short while with BlueCruise. It was nice, but GM SuperCruise works better. Well at least until it tried killing me. It was so bad I wish I had a dash cam it probably would have been picked up by national news outlets.

I’ll probably still use it on long flat highways like I-70, but I’m done with it for other highways.

But back to your main point, I don’t see why the Raptor can’t have it. Maybe the lack of sensors on the side? The Platinums have a side sensor that the Raptor doesn’t.

Ya my order sheet just says HUD. Not Baja mode only HUD. They marketed it as useful for Baja to objectify the value it holds. Everyone knows it’s already useful for day to day but for the hard core Baja people that would say it’s dumb and not needed… they targeted with that statement lol. It’s all semantics.
