2023 Raptor R slower than TRX

know I will get bashed over this but,naaah Ain’t true. The raptor is definitely an inferior truck.also since the Shelby raptor 775hp didn’t keep up with the TRX then the raptor R will stand no chance.
The way I look at it is a personal preference.
But per YouTube videos and google article the TRX still the king.

Thirty - sevens. Put them on the TRX and line em up. I don't see Ram getting a W on 37s.

Put the Raptor R on 35s and I think it'd be the same result, Ram seeing Ford taillights.

Just so we're clear, you're only considering 0-60 times, correct?

Simply because I own both. The TRX is much better option for me but, like I said b4 in one of my posts I do believe it’s a personal preference.
As far 0-60 never mattered to me. Those pick up trucks are not meant for race. I love both trucks but whenever am about to head out and I see both keys. For some reason I pick the TRX.
If you don’t mind me saying this, I wish another company will take over Ford and keep the shape of the raptor but change whatever inside the vehicle and under the hood.

The TRX is slower than Electric.

These 1/4 - 1/2 second differences. What happens if you don't have the fastest 0-60 truck there is ? What ultimately happens?

Are you not gonna get your destination as fast? IF that is your goal, there are plenty of cars or electric that beat both the Raptor and TRX.

I know 90% of the reason. I'm curious as to what everyone else says is the reason that folks care whether it is faster than a TRX or not. (Same goes for TRX owners that care whether the TRX is faster)

The R is much faster than the TRX, it is not about HP but physics I have a friend who works for Ford and it was tested vs the TRX and was much quicker 0-60 on and in every other metric

This is all speculation.... The results will be out soon for all the world to see. Let's put this argument to bed already. And who on this forum will then say the won't buy the truck because it is not as fast as a TRX in a quarter mile on a dry flat surface?? These trucks were made to run flat out across the desert floor not run a drag strip anyway.

But to me..."bragging" about something you bought is dumb. The other guy coulda chose to buy it also, but he chose not to, so folks are bragging about their decision.

Most of it is ignorant bragging rights tied to brand loyalty and ego. People want the fastest, greatest, most expensive, whateverist so they can say they have it. Those same people don’t ever use their vehicles to the full extent and, if they do, tend to be the people you see in the news crashing them when they run out of talent.
