I wouldn't be too worried. (that's easy for me to say, right!) You're into this truck six figures, which makes this a BIG disappointment. However, you're not the only one that has had this issue. Ford will get it figured out, they have to. Looking on the bright side of the situation, you know that the first owner (like everyone) had to take the original engine out for a rip and tear session. The replacement engine likely doesn't have this use/abuse and you're starting out with a new engine that you will use and maintain your way. You're enduring some labor pains, but none the less, you are living "the dream" my friend.

Should of got the Oasis report on it when making the deal . That would of been a Price negotiating point for me or walking away from it.

I recently sold a really nice Ford after numerous failures of $1000+ components in the engine bay, not long after a Ford dealer replaced the engine under warranty.

They claim all the odd failures were coindidential. There's no way to prove otherwise. Have you ever heard of the high pressure fuel line failing? The one after the HPFP? Ours did. That line got moved from one engine to the other.

Your truck has had every harness, hose, fuel line, and vacuum line disconnected and reconnected multiple times now- and a ton of stuff gets swapped over from the old engine.

I'd get an extended warranty on it now if you plan to keep it.

The good thing is the engine is pretty simple overall mechanically. No DI, no turbos. It's just a V8 mod motor with a Whipple, and there are plenty of those running around. Realtively easy to work on too.
