You are missing my whole point here. Seems like Ford owners have just come to expect this garbage and stick up for ford every step of the way. Don’t even get me started on the QA issues. I’m coming from Toyota, where quality always reigns supreme, but I’m willing to give up some reliability for interiors and off-road capability. It sucks we lose some of these ‘worthless’ options, but that doesn’t mean we should be ok with it. That’s my point. I’m sitting here looking at 21s with markup but I’ll probably just wait it out
I completely agree!

No one commented on seeing the Trail Turn Assist on the features screen. My 2021 doesn't have that, hope it is a software update along with Blue Cruise.

What would you do? Ship more trucks to people who desperately want them, or ship fewer? I'd ship more. And if someone was sofa king a n a l that they would rather have no truck than one without cup holder lights, I'd give them that option.
GM is removing some options also, but only on the lower trim levels (as it should be). The High Country and Denali still get all the features. Also, with the lower trim levels they will retrofit those parts once they become available at no cost (i.e. heated seats and heated steering wheel etc). I understand the point of wanting to get trucks out, just don't punish the premium customer who are willing to spend $80k+ on a truck and not give them those features back. Bad move by Ford...

I added it with forscan but need to see if it actually works. The My Modes would be a nice add but havent dug too far into that other than needing a new Left switch.

That may well be. The Ford marketing department has continually stunned me with their inability to read the crowd and their ham-****** communication. As an engineer that wishes that there were fewer things to break on my truck, I welcome fewer features when they're mall crawl oriented. I can find the GD cup holders in the dark so long as they don't move around. And they haven't implemented that feature yet. But that's only a matter of time.

Edit to add: F i s t e d? Really? Again? The nanny list is sofa king ridiculous.

I think you guys are getting pretty bent out of shape around a few LEDs. Removing an actual feature - like heated seats or steering wheel - is not the same thing as removing an LED light ring.

The temperature display in the dials is pretty pointless, it's very small and in an inconvenient location. Displaying the temperature on the screen is better - it takes no extra space (there is a big empty bar there on my 2021 all the time anyway, showing just the clock), shows in a much bigger font, and is easier to see at a glance as opposed to peering at some tiny numbers at the bottom of the dashboard.

I *really* like the look of the LED ambient cupholder lighting. I'd probably never use the glovebox light anyway. But I do agree with the temp display, I think I'll like it better on the upper screen.

I agree. My 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee has the temp in the screen and that’s where my eyes are trained to go anyway for everything else, why would temperature be any different.

Cup holders I totally get that’s trivial in a grand scheme of things but it’s convenient. My crappy 2018 Jeep has it and it’s awesome and very useful at night so you dont poke around slamming your cup every which way to find a spot.

New flex, I am changing my profile pic to a pic of my temp knobs.
