2022 ordered and have VIN

Has anyone considered dropping options like spray in bed liner in hopes of moving the process along? I was hoping going with 35’s might help, can always add 37’s.

I went with a 35 package. And no spray in. So yeah. No luck. I’m gonna add 37 discoverer at xlt. They are only 69 lbs

The difference in the 37 package is not only in the tire size I’m sure you know. Most importantly different shocks, less suspension travel and more

Yeah but the different tuned shocks won’t make that much of a difference unless I’m running a heavy set up with beadlocks. The method wheels I’m ordering are 29 pounds. My whole set up with be right under 100lbs a wheel/tire. Close to the stock 35s. And yes I know it’s not just the weight that makes a difference before anyone chimes in. Several people have upgraded to 37 with no issues. Even a 37 fits in the spare tire location.

If you have these options, and it has a "scheduled" build date, vin is that good? or doesnt it really matter. I have a build date of 3/8 that I heard back from ford today but know thats not gonna happen but just wasn't sure if I should drop the onboard power and bed liner to make it faster.

If you have a build date/VIN then yes, you are good. There’s no rhyme or reason as to which accessory in holding up the process. Us 1st-rounders played this game not so long ago thinking it was the bed liner holding things up. Turned out not to be the case as trucks were being delivered left and right with bed liners, mine included. It’s all a waiting game. If want those items, keep them and just hang tight. Your truck will get built to your specs.

I placed an order for a new 2022 fully loaded 35 confirmed 10/15/2021, VIN assigned 11/12/2021, production date 1/24/2022, 1/31/2022, 2/7/2022, 2/14/2022, 2/28/2022, now 3/7/2022. I would not get my hopes up until it’s built & on its way.

My build also. Scheduled 3/3 as of this week...was 3/6 last week.

I placed an order for a 37" with pretty much every available option except for blue interior on 1/6 with my dealer and just got my confirmation email from Ford today! Next email according to Ford is the Scheduled for Production email. How long did some of you wait in that stage? Confirmed -> Production date? My gut feeling is the truck will be ready around August for my birthday

lol don't keep your hopes up! Yours maybe next year possibly...They have barely scheduled Nov and Dec orders yet and those are looking towards late 3rd or 4th quarter.
