I was dead set on the raptor so much so that I almost feel buyers remorse for ordering the TRX today lol

If a miracle happens and my gen 3 is delivered before the TRX I'll eat the 1k I put down on the Ram. I just don't see it happening.

I received my order confirmation email on 12/2 for my 22 (with the 801a which I hear is slowing down the process like the 37s)..reading posts from folks who ordered a 22 in October right when the order banks opened who haven't heard anything yet makes me doubt I'll end up with the raptor. Not to mention seeing all the people who order 21s get pushed to the 22MY
Yeah this whole thing just really sucks. Horrible time to be buying a vehicle

You will get your ram most likely within 2-3 months, one of my best friends ordered one second week of October, already built and on the way to the dealership. So a little less than 3 months. I think most of us will see our MY22 July or later, and to be honest I don't know if I want to wait that long. Ordered mine first week October, so that would be a 9 months wait lol... I am already over it, after 2 months HAA

Well I ordered a L1 TRX with a few other options at $1500 over invoice. We shall see which comes in first. My 22 Raptor I ordered on Dec 2nd or the TRX.

Honestly I'd prefer the Raptor (more tech with 801a high). The level 2 TRX is now a $9,900 option and I didn't want to shell out anymore money which is why I went L1. I was trying to stay in the low to mid 70s (my 22 Rap was 71,900 something) TRX $77,500 so I'm already over where I wanted to be.

I'm really disappointed with all this production BS at ford and reading all of these stories is disheartening.
You could order TRX below MSRP. I ordered one from PA, 11% below MSRP. Going to see which one comes in first. My 37 that I ordered on Nov 2 or TRX I Ordered Nov 26th

Yea I saw that thread on the TRX forum but it looked too good to be true, hope it works out for you.

I ordered $1500 above invoice not MSRP from a friend who is a sales manager at the dealer 10 mins from my house. I trust him and I have that piece of mind that he's not blowing smoke.

With the gas mileage I'd get driving back from PA it'll be cheaper anyways lol it's not a Raptor that gets 18-19 on the highway lmao

What dealership was that? Because at this point I might just put in a order for a TRX as well...

Well, I just asked my long time Jeep/Ram dealer about the TRX situation. He replied "I have had one on order for a customer since August - no build date yet but it should be soon. I'd love to get you out of that Raptor and into a TRX but I can't promise anything either, and definitely not below MSRP!".

So it doesn't sound like things are moving at warp speed over at RAM either!

Local dealers are a bunch of crap. I have two local dealers in NY, who I purchased 6 trucks from and they all wanted above MSRP. Also, my dealer in NY only had two allocations for 2022. There are three big dealers who are doing 9% to 11% on all TRX. Koons in VA, Granger in Iowa and Chapman in PA.

My one buddy ordered his on Oct 3rd and the truck is built and taking delivery next week.

Wow. It's just a crappy time to buy these trucks, period.
