Unless I'm mistaken, the Raptor has always had only a single engine option in the past.

2010 the 5.4L was standard engine and the 6.2L was an option. So many trucks were ordered with the 6.2L that Ford dropped the 5.4L for the 2011 year.

Since then there's only been 1 engine in the Raptor, which kind of shows Fords loyalty towards what it develops for the trucks.

I wouldn't expect engine options and I don't see the 7.3L going in. I mean aftermarket HQ is turning out 700+ awhp 5.0L swapped SC Gen 2 Raptors. No need for the 7.3, right out of the box its down on hp to the 5.0.

Not accurate , the 6.2 wasn’t ready at the time scheduled time the Raptor was set to debut. Then only having one motor option only shows they they follow the same logic that EVERY other car manufacturer has when making a halo vehicle.

You can’t name another halo/specialty vehicle with multiple motor options

Corvette??? Maybe you don't think that is a "halo" vehicle, but I would say for Chevrolet it is.

My point is they may have a separate badge, like the ZR1 for the Corvette. Again, just a guess.

No, that’s like saying
F150
mustang
911
3 Series
challenger

The halo cars of those would be

Raptor
GT500
GT3
M3
Hellcat

Do you see the pattern ? No halo /specialty vehicle has multiple motor options . You can’t get a different motor in a viper, GT350, ZR1 , 570s , M5, RS7 ..... the list goes on and on

You say have a different “ badge “ like the ZR1 but it is naive to thing the ZR1 is not a completely different car from a basic corvette with a Z51 package. That’s like saying a badge is the only difference between the Raptor and a F150 XLT

Im just going to post this picture here for you..

I also said the exact same point youre trying to make.. that Ford sticks to ONE engine. It's just that since that one year Ford has stuck to one engine like everyone else. I seriously don't understand why you're arguing.

Maybe I don't understand. But a Raptor with a bigger engine to me is exactly like a Corvette with a more powerful engine, a ZR1. I was not saying a F150 with a bigger engine, I meant a Raptor (with all the Raptor parts) with a bigger engine and a new "badge". Again, theoretical, so it doesn't matter.
