I think that it’s possible ford announces a new raptor sometime within the next 12 months. That would mean that technically theres “a new raptor in 2021” which sorta makes all these statements not a total lie. But unlikely it’s a MY2021.
My best guess is that we start seeing legitimate leaks toward the end of this year or early next year (even if a bit premature, to keep some attention off the Rebel TRX)... ford Officially announces a new raptor sometime around spring or summer of 2021, and its available as a MY2022 and at dealers in late 2021 or early 2022. Then give 6 months of dealer markups, then by summer/fall 2022, we can start looking to reasonably buy one at sticker or less.
i agree there’s just no way a MY2021 is available unless it’s a continuation of the MY2020 - or unless they run some crazy Shelby variant in low production numbers. For it to be a gen 3 MY2021, it would need to be released Sometime between now and the first half of next year - otherwise it would be called a MY2022. And if it’s going to be released within 12 months from now, we’d absolutely see more leaks and spy shots and concrete evidence.
Now, I’m the same guy that thought the oil pressure gauge was the oil temp gauge and I was confused as to why engine oil was at temperature immediately on start up. So obviously my opinions are fact.
