the quality looks fine, there is just way too much blue. blue alcantara, blue leather, blue plastic, then they add orange stitching. raptor buyers don't want modern to this level. stick with colors that always work together.

I have to agree, I personally don’t care for blue interiors. I’m in for an early G3 and considering orange or white, but blue interior accents with an orange car? I purposely did not get Recaros in my ‘19 Magnetic truck, and I would not change the color combo if possible. And for me, I like my 802a seats more than the Recaros anyway.

Not even close!
Eh?

Not on a a V6....def other way around

On most V8s- tt always make more power, but more cost piping heat & complexity

Blower better DD option- usually

Anybody else agree with me? This was Ford's opportunity to make the V8 and fire back at the TRX. Now they are saying "2022 Raptor R with a V8", so what? The hype will be over in a year. Now was the time and Ford totally screwed it up big time. Will be keeping my Gen 2 which in my opinion looks better, maybe ever considering ordering a TRX.
Agreed! They aren't putting up a fight. I think they're focusing on the Bronco more.

After looking more and more at Gen 3
I really think they did such a lazy job on the interior and exterior. I mean look at this and look at RAM. If RAM had automatic 4 wheel drive option it wouldn’t be so bad on gas so hopefully they will change that. I think they focused more time on Bronco and with Raptor they just got lazy. Thank god for TRX so Ford made Raptor R

The Gen 3 interior is cleaner looking.

Why is that? Supercharger better for DD.

As far as actually driving goes, the only advantage is more linear boost. It is the least efficient engine setup (less mpg).

However, installing a supercharger is pretty much as simple as finding a place to stick it and running a belt from it to the serpentine. After all, the idiots at Fiat can do it, and it took them a decade to make a more expensive and overall worse copy of the Raptor.

im not dissapointed at all with this thing. its an improvement in every area. my guess is that it will be a better offroader then the trx . Not gonna be faster 0-60, but offroading is about a lot more than pure horsepower. the Gen2 is such an awesome vehicle as it is and this is clearly an improvement. Personaly i would take a gen 3 over a TRX. i just think it looks better and think offroad it will perform better. (have you see the video where this thing jumps 5 feet into the air?)
The interior shown is also pre production, so i do expect there to be slightly changed in it before its actually produced. Also, fords plan was to release this thing in 2022 but felt the pressure to have something come a little bit sooner due to the trx.

Also, for those who daily drive their, everyone knows gas pricing are going to rise, and who knows by how much. the TRX will get you barely get you 12mpg. Most likely youll get Gen1 fuel effeciency. Gen2 you can get 15 with an appropriate foot. with the gen 3 i would assume 1-2mpg better (with 35s) then the gen2.

Furthermore, The future of emissions will not allow the TRX last. I know someone who works at dodge and in a matter of 5 or less years the Hellcat engines will be no more. They will be going to Hybrid 3L v6 setups in the future. the Gen 3 allows Ford to keep building and improving its successful ecoboost platform which i think sounds pretty darn good this time around.

Ford strategy with 2 engines is smart and give multiple price points. Hopefully dealers dont get stupid with ADM like they do with the GT500. For all we know this Gen3 could be a bit cheaper then the TRX as well. What i am very interested is the HP numbers and the overall weight of the new truck. I wonder if ford tried to make it at all lighter then the Gen2, but im not really sure where they could save weight.

The great thing about this is now we have 2 trucks to choose from, and in 2022 there will be 3! this is great for the consumer and itll be nice to see all different types of vehicles out on offroad runs. Broncos, 3 gens of raptors ( plus the R), the TRX and the Bronco R. Very exciting for Enthusiasts like us. You definitely cannot go wrong with whatever you chose

Personaly i would take a gen 3 over a TRX.

Personally, I would take a gen 2 over a TRX. Actually, I'd rather have an F150, F250, Ranger, Taco, Frontier, Rebel, or even a GM. I draw the line at the Honda, though. I'd rather have a TRX than a Ridgeline. Barely. It's nice to see that the brand-new $100k truck isn't dead last. LOL

Hopefully dealers dont get stupid ...

I think it's a little too late to hope for that. :)
