2021 Ford Raptor missing screws that hold amplifier on rear wall…

After hearing some rattling during driving and while playing music I decided to find the source of my rattles…First, Lowering the upright seat back on drivers side rear is especially fun…thank god for YouTube….my release cord was gone and unless I saw the video giving me instruction to use an open ended wrench …I would have never figured out how to release the upright….

The bolts holding my subwoofer were tight…good…but there was at least one missing bowl that held the top of the amp rack…the rack was just mounted at the side with a single bolt(torx) the top bolt and screw were MIA…Does anyone know what size torx bolt (looks to be self tapping metal threaded) FORD uses there …My service department (don’t get me started) said they could not find out …so before a trip to LOWES …anyone have this info? Cheers

The passenger side seat release mechanism is there but there is NOT a release teether or strap that allows you to open it like in the passenger side rear (Jack stand area). This is how it was on the Gen 2 and std F150.

think they are t20/7mm bolts that hold it in place. dont know the thread pitch, but its standard ford thread for all their boltd they use on their interior

Take out one of the bolts holding the subwoofer and see if it fits the amp hold down. If it fits, take it to a real hardware store and get a replacement.

If the bolt doesn’t fit, you will at least know if you need to larger or smaller sized bolt.

Consider using some blue LocTite.
