Speculating here, but perhaps the massaging seats are not in the raptor due to the intended off-road use. I imagine the possible impacts and the driver feeling some of those in the seats could have the possibility of hitting the massage mechanisms or them braking. I agree it definitely would be cool, but perhaps it's not been included to reduce possible injury or warranty claims..?

I don't think that's the case. Platinum's come in 4WD as well, and if there was a big concern there, I would think they would take massage seats off anything in 4WD. However, perhaps it could be that the Raptor seats are designed to hold you in place a bit more, and thus not as applicable for massaging.

And the raptor is the only vehicle in Ford's lineup from the factory designed to go airborne.

Car and Driver is as legit as it gets. Very credible! Supercharged V8 is real! I will be buying it.

I can't help but wonder what sort of mark up the stealership will want on one though????? Regardless, I'll definitely be asking my dealer about ordering one for me, but if they want to assess any sort of "Adjustment to Fair Market Value" charge on it, then I'm out.

I have a good guy I deal with where I bought my current Gen 2. I am flipping my Gen 2 back to him.

There was a time not too long ago, when stealerships only got so many Raptors per year. I imagine when and if the R comes out, it will be somewhat limited for a while and carry a hefty markup.
