I noted in the video I posted “White Raptor Walkaround” before it was taken down that the battery has been repositioned from parallel to the engine to more forward and diagonal (apparently to make room for a new air tube) Also, the new air box looks similar to an aftermarket (COBB, etc.) design.....

What else?

There wasn’t much to really see as far as the engine goes. Intake is just a small part. I’m more interested in the heads and turbos. What has Ford done with those parts to improve the torque? Or is it just tuning?

I'm really hoping that stock exhaust can be swapped. Switch out the active exhaust actuator with a manual actuator and wire it to the aux switches. They really improved the sound on the Gen 3.

I think they finally got the exhaust right! Worst case, maybe the aftermarket can reproduce this for the Gen 2. Will be expensive I’m sure.

Just get some better speakers to pipe in that v8 sound.

Hey listen, I run a stock exhaust and fine with it. It does sound tuner carish when you get on it. But I am cool with it and at least it sounds a little louder than a regular F-150 LOL. I know I’m moving when I hear it. I personally like old school V8’s exhaust better anyway.

Just saying they tuned the Gen 3 pretty well now and it should quiet down all those peeps who outright complain about the Gen 2’s exhaust.
