Actually, I thought (along with the OP) that it was a reasonable offer for the mileage. I have one scheduled to be built next month for $5K over MSRP. Out the door for $91,500 just trying to save a few bucks and avoid the wait for shipping. I’m not sure if you are in sales, but people offer and pay less than asking on a daily basis.Sorry but $13k under asking is really being a d-head.
I never understood why people do this to someone privately selling.
According to what they’re actually selling for at dealers and private sales it was a bozo offer and that’s why you didn’t get it. Simple ..nothing to do with “being in sales”.Actually, I thought (along with the OP) that it was a reasonable offer for the mileage. I have one scheduled to be built next month for $5K over MSRP. Idk truthfully what I think isn’t fair is paying 5-10k$ markup on a new 22 model truck with missing components when I’m offering one with higher mileage but it has all the features. Would you rather have new with hardly options, or used with everything. It’s worth what people will pay. I did good. Especially when all the book values show 85-95k values. Selling for 87,500$ is a good deal in my book and I’m glad I did to a dealerIdk man. Bozo to me is paying 9k over msrp with 17,000 miles. We all have different perspectives I guess.
