This is an interesting thread. I picked my new 2020 up 2 weeks ago and it has "the whistle". Look forward to seeing if there's a fix to this, it's mildly annoying.

Guys, does this sound like the issue you're experiencing? Ford released this message on OASIS a few days ago. The dealer won't be able to resolve it until engineering determines a repair direction, but at least you can have them document the concern. Once a TSB or SSM is released I'll be sure to post it up here.
Dec 13 2019 9274 - 2020 F-150/Mustang/Ranger - 10R80 Transmission – High-Pitched Whine Noise During Acceleration And Coasting - Built On Or Before 20-Nov-2019
Some 2020 F-150/Mustang/Ranger vehicles equipped with 10R80 transmissions may exhibit a high-pitched whine noise coming from the rear of the transmission at speeds between 30-50 km/h (18-30 MPH) during light acceleration and while coastingdown. The noise will not be present when the vehicle in in NEUTRAL. This may be due to an output shaft bearing. This condition will not affect transmission durability or function. If no additional symptoms are present, do not attempt any repairs or transmission replacement at this time. Engineering is investigating, monitor OASIS for updates.
Has it been confirmed that this issue is rectified on current builds? I'm going to order a 2020 soon and don't want to take delivery in a few months with a known issue.
