2020 Whistle Sound

I pick up my 2020 tomorrow or Friday. I ordered it and it was built dec 9th ish. I will let you know if I have the whine.

Congrats on the new ride. Is your 12/9 (ish) build experiencing the whine noise other members are describing?

I called Ford Service last week they have no information regarding this.

Haven't seen anything come through yet. As soon as I do I will post the update. The service message states that the noise is not detrimental to the transmission durability or operation, so at least there is no need to worry a failure in the interim.

I just picked up my 2020 two days ago and I have the whistle sound as well, noticeable at around 50 Kmh and goes up and down with speed.
Hopefully Ford can figure this out.

2019 802A 3/19 build, 18k mi, it whistles or whines from ~ 42-55mph. Went to the dealer this morning, took the service advisor for a ride to confirm. He’s going to dig into it with Ford.

Sounds almost like feedback through the speakers.

A friend of mine bought a new 20 XLT it does the same thing, so we’re thinking it’s not raptor specific.

Ok, then my truck is whistle free.

Certainly noticeable, all electronics off, A/C off, 2-3 out of 10.

Also very noticeable in reverse in my case. Backing the truck out of the driveway at 3-4 mph and you can clearly hear the sound increasing in pitch.
