2020 Sync 3 Update

Splash only at shutdown? Anyone else notice this behavior? Otherwise the update sounds like a piece of cake.

Yes but I did a reboot and now the splashscreen is back
Come on when I open the door as before. and when I turn the vehicle off

By reboot, do you mean turn the vehicle off and on?

mine on shutdown, my Sirius xm is not working right either can't changed stations

Sirus XM I had to refresh the signal from my online Account
Works perfectly now. Also get Album Artwork for each new song. was not that way before
I like that

Hold down the Volume/Power Button at the same time as holding the forward search button (>>).
Hold them for several seconds till the screen goes blank and then let go. Will reboot.
You can also do this if your Sync3 ever locks up. Reboot.

Going out to the truck again now to see if the splash screen in fact still comes up when entering the vehicle...Hope so

Yeah it’s only at shutdown, but the plus is that everything is ready instantly as soon as the truck is started.

I followed the instructions on this other site because it was easier. You just download the zip file, unzip them to the USB drives, and then plug them into the truck.

I have a 2018 with Sync 3 so it did require a format, but everything worked.

I was hoping to hear from someone running 3.0 previously. Any chance you’ve noticed a difference in map data? I’m on ...NA 115 I think so it would be great if I could get past that. Maybe my next USB drive adventure won’t turn into another boondoggle.

Yep still working.
Works when you open the door
Works at start up and shutdown.
Work after closing the door.

Like before.
I don't know if this makes a difference but I had rebooted a few times. Last time was a charm

yea xm is working and after letting it sit boot up raptor now working as before
