What did you already have? Ver 3.3?
If so, what all did you have to download?
Can you reiterate the process?
Just a simple download from a link to USB?
Thanks

I had Sync version 3.3. If you have version 3.2 or 3.3 follow this link and download the USB3.rar file only. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1MLcy5hENz2G9qe-EHJcYGbbG3IoNR5j3

1. Unzip the file and move the contents of the folder to a USB thumb drive.
2. Take USB thumb drive to Raptor.
3. Open Raptor.
4. Start Raptor.
5. Place thumb drive in the USB slot in the cubby under radio. Give it a minute and you will see a message in top right of screen that says "updating system software". Give it time, it will prompt you when you can remove the usb thumb drive. Took me roughly 25 minutes to update. It will reboot but dont remove the thumb drive until the message says to do so. You will get a message that the update is complete. Turn off truck & restart. Good to go!
6. Go to Starbucks.
7. Enjoy

I admit, I tried this today, and as step 1 I wanted to get most current on 3.0. 2.5 hours later, I’m at 3.0 19025 I think it is(?). My USB stick gave me static; it’s a 32g sandisk and the truck won’t acknowledge it.

@Cole Weezy what kind of usb sticks were you using?

I actually found the 4g stick I used from the previous sync 3 iteration and it worked in about 75 seconds (started). I think I may have used an sd card from an adapter previously,

I’m pretty sure there’s no plan for dealers or Ford to upgrade 3.0 to 3.2/3.3/3.4 because the whole package on the google drive has newer maps, which in the USA is a pay feature.

I understand....it's a man's truck :lol2:

and still... you are compelled to come here, seeking validation for your choices, rather than just be happy with what you bought and move on with life.

OK Cole...Sorry to bother but I gotta ask a few more questions
I have downloaded and unzipped the files and moved to USB Drive
Ready to go out to the Raptor and do this....BUT

Will this affect or do anything to the navigation or maps? Does this update the maps too.
Will I lose any features. Anything new ?
Does that badass RAPTOR logo still pop up when first starting the truck....lol.

Thanks
Waiting on you before I proceed
