2020 Slow to go to reverse???

I have a 2020 Screw, I was wondering if anyone else has noticed that at times it seems to be pretty slow to go into reverse? It's not crazy slow, but it seems like there is an extra second to go into reverse over an average car/truck. Most times it's a non-issue, but if I need to do a U-turn, or something similar, I really notice it. Other than that, the trans seems perfect. Is it just a characteristic of the 10 speed?

I don't know that much about tranny's and I'd like to keep it that way.

If I go from drive to reverse quickly, there can be about a 1 second delay at times. Seems to be a characteristic of the 10R based on the others I’ve driven.

The 6 speeds in my 2011 and 2014 had a slight delay as well.

Mine does it too. I figure that the computer is trying to decide whether to shift me or shaft me.

Ok, thanks guys , good to know it's normal. Like I said, it's mostly a non-issue unless I'm trying to flip a quick U turn. When I do, I have to remind myself to give it a second and make sure I felt it shift, so I don't slam the trans.

Ya my 18 same thing - delay of about a second. Not like days of old shifting auto transmissions.

Def noticed it in my 2020, thought i broke the truck doing K turn.

2020 - never noticed any lag. I dont start backing until the truck is fully stopped
