New Mexico, it ain't "new" & it ain't "mexico"
Wanted to provide an update to others that may experience this issue. I've posted previously and seen others commenting about abnormal buzzing / droning noise from rear shocks. I believed it to be the solenoid and that was ford service advisor's opinion (seen it before) when I dropped off. Now was just informed that after replacing solenoid (part number KL3Z18B0840) it still making the noise and they are replacing the shock (part number KL3Z18125J) all under warranty. Unfortunately had to wait overnight for solenoid and now overnight for the shock. Fingers crossed new shock takes care of the problem and it is not like the fuel pump?!? :pHopefully on the road again this Thursday!

My 2024 Raptor (35” tire package) with 2500 miles is doing the same thing. Notice the buzzing sound after I shut the truck off. Buzzing last about 10 seconds then stops. Dealer replaced both rear shocks under warranty. The shocks are still buzzing but not nearly as loud. I don’t know what to do next. Have you noticed any buzzing with your shocks after truck is turned off?

Any update to this?

My 22 does this in the rear after having the shocks replaced for the clunk SSM. Sounds exactly like yours and last about the same amount of time. Even does it with the truck on in certain instances. Such as reversing and going to park when I connect my trailer. Dealer replaced driver solenoid and it still does it. It didn't do this before the shocks were replaced. I have seen where a replacement shock fixes it. Maybe you got 2 bad batches? My truck is going back tomorrow to get checked again. A bit fed up with the amount of times my Gen2 and 3 Raptors have been to the dealer.

Wow, that's pretty strange. Never saw that before.
Mines doing it on both rears now, drivers side started a while ago, now passenger, 80k miles otherwise perfect truck…kinda sucks hearing Gen3s have issue too, the suspension is a lot of what makes these trucks what they are and the complete & utter lack of support from both Ford & Fox is a shame- Ford…you’ve been making Raptors for 3 gens now, & been telling people the shocks need building- how about setting up a program w/ fox through ford dealers?

Also…to “fix” it? Have yet to see an actual explanation. I was gonna refresh the whole suspension, thought about instead putting that $$$ toward a swap into a low low mileage ‘22 that still can be tuned, but if I’m gonna have the same buzzing issue start up on a. Gen3 too?

I’m thinking I may cut my losses here & look at an F250 w/ tremor package & do a Carli pintop kit once the OEM suspension is worn
