One thought, How will this affect the factory warranty?

truck memory most likely will “remember” it was plugged in

It may set some unusual DTCs, which would be a telltale sign. There are even DTCs now that set to an aftermarket device is changing parameters.

That’s not surprising, given how tight the tolerances for things are on the truck.

I don’t think there are current piggy back or ‘chip’ mods that do anything more than add boost, or maybe alter the throttle map like a pedal commander --and-- add boost.

just adding boost is not a recipe for long term success, engine longevity and trouble free service. You may end up with a dashboard light display and truck load of DTC faults for parameters out of range.

my main concern with them is if they are just spinning the turbos harder, you’ll end up with a lot more heat where you don’t need it.

But, let’s hope someone has ‘cracked the code’ so to speak and you’re on to something. Good luck !

Now, about 400 miles on the "chip." Notice about 1-2 more MPG on Hwy. Slightly better throttle response as well. Nothing to write home about though. Maybe it still has to "learn."

But still... 36-72 more miles per tank of gas in a Screw???
That's legit.

@Chinook101

Anything further in terms of feedback on this product? Any fault codes/lights etc?

@FordTechOne

Safe to say this invalidates the warranty, or?

If an engine or transmission failure were to occur that can be attributed to the modification, it would not be warrantable.

This is obviously a giant scam on par with the "Tornado Fuel Saver" and fuel magnets.

How do they even sell one?
