I personally don't think that is a good trade in value, especially if you are purchasing the vehicle from the same dealer you are selling to.

I actually just got a 2019 801A Raptor. Traded in my 2014 4Runner with 91k miles on it for 27K (purchased new for 35k in 2014). I think you could get a better trade in deal if you wait a bit and find the right dealership. But just my opinion.

I would just drive the Raptor until the SD is ready. I wouldn’t worry bout the warranty/phasers either- they don’t effect the performance, you already had it done so what’s the concern? Seems like many people are putting these engines deep into 6 figure mileage w/o issue. I also can’t think of a 1/2 ton truck that will hold its value better longer than a Raptor, so sitting tight w/ it isn’t a bad play.

You already have your mind made up that you’re moving on to a SD truck, just gonna take a bit, in the meantime why bother downgrading to a “lesser” truck that may very well lose more value between now & when you get your SD & w/ an increased out of pocket cost as well??? Makes no sense to me, you’re just getting antsy

Not a bad #. Never listen to a dealer when they say “tax savings”. You eventually pay those taxes at some point.

So I have a super duty on order, put it in right before the order banks closed at granger. Still probably 125 orders ahead of me without a VIN, not like order date really matters, with maybe what 4 months left of scheduling? Either way I wont see the super duty until December/January or it might even get pushed to a 2023 with the way Ford is.

I have a 2019 screw with just under 50k miles. Has an ADD front bumper and method wheels with 37s, only thing missing is carbon fiber package. Dealer was gonna give me 62k for it with tax savings makes it about 66k. They have a 22 Ram Rebel with the GT package for 7k off sticker.

Is 62k decent for trade?

My other ride is a Power Wagon. Different then the 2018 Raptor I have but the PW is better in things like interior, suspension(rear springs) but is not apples to apples in other comparisons, so I won’t go down that path, as the Raptor does a few things better as well. This is a Ford forum so you are going to get negative feedback since you mentioned another brand. But to answer your question, 62k is what they are selling for in my area, so a trade at that price is great. If you are not jumping the sandunes, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprise with the ride quality of a rebel. I say try it. But report back. Please
