Today was a good day, I got my new truck in the dirt. The adaptive shocks are legit and I had all the intention of keeping this thing “stockish.”

Aside from added oil capacity, less fade and blah blah blah... anybody have feedback on 2019 shocks vs. aftermarket?

Or real world feedback on 2018 vs. 2019 shocks? Just curious if the 2019’s adaptive technology makes a material difference vs. the 2018’s.

Thanks!

Interested as well, haven’t seen anything but feels better stuff so far no actual info. The fox 3.0 and king are more than likely better but in my opinion (0 with the 19 so far) would need to be tuned to out preform the 19. Even then you would have to choose where you mostly drive street or hard off roading on lots of little rocks and such;each would require complete different tuning where the 19 would supposably do it automatically and back. Interested to see what comparisons have been done.

The question might be better asked: For the same money or less can aftermarket shocks be better than stock?

I'm sure you can get better aftermarket shocks but are you willing to upgrade for an additional $5k+??
