From the picture, looks like an impact to front of the vehicle directly at the end of frame rail. Likely hit an object that was about the height of the bumper where it ties into the frame rail (or a little shorter). If they can repair that frame bend, it won't total. If they have to replace the frame to repair, it's totaled. Looks repairable to me.

went off a drop off landed on the front lower, obviously. just never had a vehicle with frame damage before, hate what it will likely do to the value.

FFS, some of you guys are viscous, it was mostly an insurance question, not looking for a ford tech repair quote.

its like every time someone posts, you get hammered cause you bought a Roush, or a Shelby, or a Gen 1 or a Gen 2, or painted or wrapped it, or put on wheels you like, WTF...?

You are better off to just lurk than ask a damn question.

I don't know, I have to say my experience on this forum is just the opposite. Very knowledgeable members that seem happy to help.

Oh yeah, almost forgot. SCREW YOU AND YOUR FANCY SCHMANCY ROUSH!! :batman2:

It sucks but the only parts of the F150 frame that are repairable are the rear box sections which can be cut out and re-welded and replaced. The font frame is not from my knowledge repairable. They can pull and pull on these frames and they won't move they are the reasons people buy F150.

I agree it varies, but I just wouldn't waste my time unhelping someone, if I can help I will, if I have valid info I will, but don't bother trolling anyone.

I contribute where I can, here and the FB groups, which are waaaay worse, those guys...

That being aid, I agree, I too like pics, worth 1000 words, right.

Appreciate anything anyone can offer on how to deal with ins and repairs.

I think I am hoping for a total here, maybe even buy it back, it still drives well, hell even if I part it...

Yeah, even at $70k they're overpriced considering poor build quality and lack of standard features.

For the OP, what kind of abuse did it take to bend the frame?

There is no issue with the “build quality” of these trucks. Even base models have plenty of “standard features”, if you want the luxury and technology features, you have to pay for them, just like any other vehicle.

There is no vehicle on the market at any price even remotely capable of what the Raptor can do. You sound like a troll.

Oh, and had a Black "regular" 18 Raptor, but hated the black, love the Ruby Red, and like the "FANCY SCHMANCY ROUSH" package plus might get more of my money back at trade, or in this instance since its a real upgrade thing with an invoice from Roush, as opposed to just adding aftermarket parts dealers screw you out of.

Guess ill find out.
