Looks like I was wrong. But Fox could probably so something similar with a self-contained unit that would be a lot easier for retrofit.

I can't imagine they wouldn't, since that is exactly how the bike version works (self contained, battery powered). Just run a power line back and you're good to go. Not quite as refined, but an easy retrofit and you still get most of the benefits.

Waiting to hear back from Fox on this, as well as what happens if the electronics fail (I'd expect it goes full dampening). Reckon I'll replace my stockers with this unless it truly is price prohibitive

I do go offroad quite a bit, My land cruiser has done over 10,000 miles of trails and unpaved roads since 2015. I also go get a coffee as it's also my DD.
The raptor would replace it so Suspensions are important to me indeed.

Welp then welcome to the waiting game, dont expect to see any 19's out until the end of the year and I am sure dealers will still have ADM on them as well.

I still think their is nothing wrong with the 17/18 suspension but I know everyone wants the "new"

Might be your chance to pick up an in stock 18 at a decent price.

I was on the fence about waiting, happy I didn’t. Love my Lead Foot grey, and realistically, doubt I would see the benefit of the new suspension. Plus, if the Recaro’s fit anything like they did in my Mustang, my body didn’t really agree with them.

I'm not sure how. My understanding is these adjust to driving conditions which include driver input (steering, throttle, etc) they're also electronically controlled. So they not only need signaling to determine driving conditions, they need power too. Anything self contained would essentially be a passive system, which is what we have now, or what Chevy is using in the ZR2

The only other way to get something similar was if they had batteries and communicated with each other wirelessly to know what the other is doing. That doesn't sound reliable or cost effective and still wouldn't have the benefit of knowing what the steering wheel, throttle or brakes are doing.

My guess is the new shocks will make on-road behavior quite a it better, particularly in the rear. Time will tell

I’ll want to be trading for 18 appliqué and beadlocks from the look of it. I love the shock upgrade though. Who knows how pricey the recaros will be

That's how the bike system works My thinking is you just have to run power to them and you're good to go. On board accelerometers. Not quite as sophisticated as real-time info from the truck, but still should be plenty quick and handle say 60-70% as well.
