Thanks for understanding my vent, ha. My order was accepted the day scheduling opened (09/22 iirc), which is when I got my build week of 10/29 -- I was pretty excited about being in the first couple weeks. Next time I checked (I honestly can't recall how soon after it was, maybe a few days), I was pushed back to 11/05. I wasn't too bothered, since it was only a week. But since then it's pretty much been kicking the can down the road.

I doubt it's a dealership thing; Once the order is submitted they're out of the picture until the vehicle is delivered, and they definitely had an allocation as I was immediately scheduled. I'm only asking them to step in now because I obviously can't contact the regional rep myself.
At least if it were built, it would be sitting in a lot with all the others waiting for OK to buy to happen. One thing in your favor is if it gets on the assembly line soon, You'll likely get it before most of those already in the lots.

Did you have issues with your VIN from the beginning?

Not sure what you mean by issues with the VIN, but I got the VIN pretty quickly after the build was scheduled. I want to say early October, pretty much when everyone else got theirs.

Though the order tracker and sticker lookup have never worked. I was told by FP neither will until the vehicle moves to production, but that's obviously not true.

True, but with not being scheduled until mid-January, I'm pretty sure the lot will have been emptied by then.

So I was speaking with my neighbor who works for Ford this evening, and he told me his wife's F150 (non-Raptor) build was also delayed. He looked into it, and he says many of the higher trimmed F150s are being delayed as a result of the supplier fire from earlier this year. Ford still hasn't caught up on inventory, which is causing backups.

Take that with a grain of salt, as he's white collar and pretty far removed from vehicle production. But it was interesting to hear that Ford could still be suffering from that fire.

This is pretty cool. Take this URL and plug in the the zip code of your dealer and some of you should see your truck >> https://shop.ford.com/inventory/f15...2019&fyear=2019&Order=Distance&intcmp=show-bp

so above, change the "zipcode=14445" to your dealer zip code. It worked for my truck yesterday but now my truck no longer displays.

let me know works for you.

Not that I was worried about it, but good to see those stock photos don't have the 4x4 decal on the back.

I certainly hope the lot is emptied by then. Hard to imagine so many delays. I ordered my 18 in mid April and had a VIN and a build date a few days later for mid May. There was 1 delay of about a week due the fire at the parts plant. I picked my truck up June 19th.

My truck does not display. On the Ford tacker, it still shows in production, which has been there since 10/25 and delivery on the 18th. I guess the positive is that even though it has not moved to in transit or awaiting to ship, the delivery date has not changed.
