My estimated delivery date moved from 12/2 to 11/30. He did mention that mine should be on a truck already.
"Here's some good news..It looks like it's being sent to the dealer, not sure how long it takes to get to California by train but it should be on its way"
I corrected him and said it's going to Missouri by convoy.

Can we infer then that the ok to buy has been achieved?

Checking this forum and refreshing the Ford website about 5 times a day became my daily routine.. what’s gona happen when the truck will finally get delivered? Then what??? So many questions?? Not so many answers... #strugleisreal
No kidding. The tracker still has not changed for me. Checking it a lot more than 5 times today, lol.

I spoke to my dealer today. Initially their response was, "Delays are uncommon, but do happen". When I provided the timeline they were surprised. They said four delays is pretty unheard of, and that bumping it all the way back to a February delivery is concerning. Had it been a parts shortage, it would have been a single delay and not multiples in succession.

I'm told I'll hear something from the regional rep on Wednesday, but if it's more of the same I'm canceling the order with the possible intent to resubmit in early 2019. Though I may consider something else entirely, because frankly, the customer experience has been terrible. For the amount of money I'm spending, I could walk into an Audi dealership for a Q8 and have a MUCH better level of service.

As I explained to my dealer, I wouldn't have cared too much whether the order was built in October (as initially estimated) or February. My frustration is the lack of communication. I get parts shortages happen, line issues happen, delivery delays happen. But simply saying, "Oh, you're 2.5 months back from your original date... Bye" as the only update is simply unacceptable. I'm not buying a stock Focus SE; I'm buying the flagship trim of your most profitable vehicle. Act like I matter, please.

Ok, I'm done venting.

Well at the very least that was a understandable vent. I hope things work out for you,and in my case it’s isolated. I’m Scheduled for a November 20 build and I believe a December 16 Delivery. The two times I’ve called Ford they have told me this. I’m wondering if it’s a dealer issue? I’m not sure if you have maybe I need to read your post again, but I would talk to Ford Performance and ask them when your order was processed. Mine was processed 8/28. Good luck . I can only imagine the frustration
