2019 New to Me -- Maintenance Question

Build date cutoff for the valve cover PCV issue was 4/1/2019. Even if it was built after that, it’s a good practice to check the engine oil periodically. Owners manual states once per month.

So if my build date was 03/19 is it something I need to worry about or would normal scheduled Ford services have taken care of it?

Monitor your oil usage. As with cam phasers, not everyone had the problem in the first place. Report abnormal oil consumption immediately if found.

As Smurf said, just keep an eye on your oil level. It’s also possible the TSB was performed under the previous owner if it had the issue.

I'm the only owner. So the TSB is only done if you have the issue? Not to prevent the issue? Since Ford is the only one to change my oil thus far, would they not be aware if I had the issue? I've not had any TSB notification come via FordPass about the issue.

Correct. The TSB is only for trucks that have the issue. There will be no notification in FordPass, it’s a service bulletin, not a recall. If you don’t have an oil consumption issue then nothing to worry about, oil level should be checked monthly as mentioned.

mine build June 2019,no problem but still check oil every 2 weeks!

Sorry for the late reply and very much appreciate the input here! Love the Raptor community already. Below are some initial pics, will add some better ones shortly.

Truck is stock and probably will keep it that way for a while until I get bored. Truck came with the American flag sticker, figured it has to had at least 15 additional HP so leaving it on.

Adding the little toy raptor as I bought it at target a year ago for inspiration…

No moon roof. Initially I thought that was a deal breaker but realized I don’t use it all that much on my prior vehicles. After reading a bit I decided to avoid in fear of additional issues

Sorry for another comment, but, is there a way to replace the door handles with handles that match the color of the truck? Obviously it’s an option new from the dealer but can I get them installed somehow? Not a big deal just like the clean look
