So you bought 2019 Live valve shocks then bought the RPG kit and installed them on an 18 and later? Why?
Apparently if you delete the live valve in the shocks they behave exactly like the 2018 non live shocks. Anyway, that's what's been said.

So it deletes the live valve system, but looking at the device that is being sold, it does not look like a valve stack... So I am not sure what it would be like in comparison to a 2018 valve stack that is designed for the application... I am not sure why RPG developed this it seems like a giant pain in the ass to make a shock work on a truck it is not designed for....

I'd guess for the regular F150 people looking for 19-20 raptor take offs. What the RPG kit does is it completely removes the solenoid valve and plugs it up. Pretty simple..

This looks like a really new product too. Before the only thing I had seen was the DID plug to fool the truck when running non-live valve shocks on a 19-20 Raptor.

Taking 2019 and up raptor shocks and blocking them off and putting them on a NON live valve truck of any kind is like taking a super model and dressing her in a complete nuns outfit... Sure the clothes will fit but is that really the right way to do it?

It was either that, or wait 6 weeks for my 18 shocks to be rebuilt. So i went with the 3 day solution. Traded in the old shocks foe $500 credit, and only paid $500 for new shocks.

Yes sir. See above.. my 18 shocks were done on the rear, and had to wait 6 weeks for rebuild or snag the fastest set (19’s swapped with Full Icon so were brand new)
Traded in for parts and only cane out $500 out of pocket. Gets me by for now

I have a '19 with stock live valves. I would LOVE to switch them out for 3.0 Live Valves if I didn't have to pay the hefty price!

I'm still slightly confused in the terminology as according to fox themselves and all of the literature of the 19/20 shocks, the stock shocks are 3.0 Live Valve. This is seen here:

https://www.ridefox.com/content.php?c=livevalve-raptor

I see differences as described in the early pages in terms of spring rates, cooling capability. reservoir size, and a small adjuster to change stiffness.

So is the name just a bit of a misnomer or what is the difference in terms of the stock "Fox 3.0 internal bypass with live valve technology" versus these 3.0 Live Valve Shocks for actual shock size? Are both a 3.0 with the aftermarket having the performance upgrades over stock or is there actually a size difference?

It doesn’t entirely. The LV shocks default to the stiffest setting if you delete the system and put them on pre-LV trucks.
