Hi all,

Just took delivery of my Raptor this past weekend and I love it! I just came from a 2014 SCREW with the Gen 1 ecoboost and I loved it. I did a 6" lift, wheels/tires, CAI and a bunch of other personalized things. The truck was a real looker. I love my Raptor but it's just like any other performance blue with the forged beadlocks. My first purchase was a weathertech bed and tailgate mat as well as an undercover tonneau. I just wanted to post here and ask opinions on what I can expect to sell the wheels/tires for. The truck has under 400 miles on it right now so they are basically new. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I got mine from Ebay... 1650-- which was a sreaming deal.... mostly 2200+ if you try to order them from ford, Body shop price is 1500 each.

At this point I don’t think I’m selling them. I was going one direction with it (wheels/tires, leveling kit), but the more I look at it and drive it, the more I love it. I’m starting to see that a stock raptor IS really that good. There isn’t really a need for things like there was on my other trucks. This thing just kicks ass on and off road. The factory bead locks are definitely strong and capable for off road use. The leveling kit will change the dynamics of the suspension and the handling. As of right now, the wheels are staying with me. Sorry guys.

I came to the same realization about the exhaust. I've always liked to tweak my vehicles, so the Corsa sport muffler was one of the first things I picked up for my Raptor when I got it a few months back. After putting less than 1,000 miles on it I realized it just wasn't for me, and pulled it off yesterday. Sometimes stock is best!

Yeah fellas... the aftermarket stuff exists to upgrade average daily driver vehicles.

With a vehicle like the Raptor or GT350, the factory has spent significantly more time researching, designing, and testing than some Joe with a CNC machine.

These vehicles are already unique and standout anytime you drive them. Jack up this truck, put some aftermarket wheels on, a loud exhaust, and what ever else you can pick up from PepBoys, and now it looks like every other standard F150 out there with aftermarket parts.

I think the raptor is a rare enough truck that there is no need to get wheels/tires and lift. The raptor in stock form would’ve destroyed any lifted truck I’ve had in every way. Sure they looked pretty cool lifted and they surely had more clearance in places but not near the capability of the raptor. There’s millions of f-150’s on the road with the need to be different. There aren’t enough raptors on the road to justify the need for standing out from the crowd, it does it on its own.

I wouldn't fault someone for changing wheels. I don't care for any of the stock Raptor wheels Gen1 or Gen2.
