In the market for a Raptor. Love the 2017 in Avalanche with the Black interior and orange trim. But, read a lot of positive reviews on the 2019 upgrades. Obviously, I'm looking for a killer deal, or I'd just have one built.

Regardless, the question is has anyone had this electronic issue - " WARNING LIGHTS AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS ILLUMINATED"?

Found a 2019 that Ford bought back from the customer, repaired, and is now back up for sale. $56,800 with just 4066 miles. They are including a 12mo bumper to bumper warranty along with original warranty.

Any advice?

You should be able to find a new 19' for close to $60k and no stigma. And a full 3/36k warranty.

is the original Ford warranty bumper to bumper? I don't know.

I guess I'm wondering if the problem really is fixed. That's why I'm trying to better understand if this is a one-off issue, or a known issue.

What good is a 12/12 bumper to bumper warranty? Unless they add it onto the existing.

Ford doesn’t just buy back vehicles after the first fix attempt. Typically, Ford will only buy back a vehicle after umpteen attempts, without success, so you should be very concerned about whether the issue was fixed for good. Maybe it has, maybe it hasn’t... it’s really a gamble.

Has the dealer provided you with the CarFax? Do you know what was wrong with the Rap?

My understanding about Fords buy back program is that the vehicles come with the balance of the original factory warranty or a 12-month/12,000 mile warranty, whichever is longer. Are they telling you that they’ll extend the factory with the 12/12?

Lastly, I think price is a bit high for a buy back vehicle. The truck is very nicely equipped with just about every available option, but I wouldn’t pay more $50k... maybe $52 depending on the mechanical issue. (Keep in mind, I’m not a gambling man.) And have them through in a 100k warranty. Like 911 Crazy said, you can get a really good deal on a new 2019 right now.
