$7,700 off is great, and not totally unheard of. I say do it and don’t think twice. I just bought a 2019 Expedition Limited for my wife, and we drove the 17 AG Raptor to the dealership. The sales guy was hinting at a 2019 Raptor for $7000 off. The dealership is saturated with them. Ford has made thousands more gen 2 raptors over the last 3 years then they ever made of the Gen 1s. The trends are changing dramatically, especially here in SoCal! Home of the most ridiculous markups ever.

2020s at invoice seems very unusual.

But then again, so does a 2019 below invoice. That $7700 is also consuming the hold back.

2018s were not sold below invoice... maybe you could get invoice when the 2019s started hitting the lots.

Perhaps this is the start of the shift? This would also impact the used market.

IDK... $58k XLTs? Their list prices are higher than the sticker... then they say $15k off..

spoke to couple that will match 7700 off.. and have spoke to several that didnt get the notice there are a poop ton of Raptors for sale and qouted a couple grand off and got really pissy when I asked for 7700 off.

Hate to leave money on the table, so many for sale and Im thinking 9000-10k off might be possible in another month. Only downside to waiting is getting stuck with one that has options I dont need. All I want is 802, tech and carbon would be cool... Im in Florida so dont care about the sunroof, its super cool... but its hot as hell down here an I never open the ones are two current trucks have.

I'm seeing several new 2018s right next to the 2019s. The dealers here in NM are selling the 2019s at MSRP. I have to think the 2018s can be bought at or below invoice. Once the 2020s hit the lot, I suspect the 2019 prices will soften. This is simple supply vs. demand.

Love to know where you are getting $7700 off. I want one with recaro seats I like the blue seat with grey exterior I can’t seem to find them out there. With 802a bead lock wheels etc.

If it is the color you like sounds like a good deal. I order my 2019 -$4,500 below MSRP
