The Limited muffler came in and is in my garage ready for install. It's SIGNIFICANTLY larger than the stock... it's big and round. Hence it's much more quiet. I did some quick prelim measurements and it looks like it will fit. I'll be working it this week and will post an update.

Ok guys! Holy STEALTHYNESS! This thing is Q U I E T! It is SOOOOOOOOO nice! What a relief to be able to just drive in peace and enjoy the ride! ha!

So, here in San Antonio we have two shops called "Bring your own parts." It is just that... you bring the parts they do the work. They only charged me $150.00.

Yes... I have the bad ass jack and the jack stands and the tools and all that. I have also done this ONCE with the stock muffler, so I know how tedious it is and how much of a pain in the ass it is to get that driver's side pipe all back in there. I could do it for sure... BUT, with a lot of time, effort, busted knuckles and all that crap, it wasn't worth it for me today.

So, to ME (today), it was well worth 150 bones to pay this guy to toss my truck up on a lift, and switch the muffler out in 47min!!!! OMG! I would paid MORE for that! Wow... He's done it a couple thousand times, he has all the RIGHT powered air tools and all the things needed, everything is solid and secure and has an instal warranty. I also got to watch him do it... it was solid work! More so than I could have done. It's just so much easier if you have a lift and all the specific tools. (and yes, I know I know, you COULD do the whole thing with ONE cresent wrench... I get it! But I don't change out mufflers or work on cars for a living.) I was the one that removed the OEM muffler and put on the magna flow in the first place. It wasn't hard to do, I simply did not feel like F'ing with it this time! :)

Anyway.... If you want your truck quieted down, this IS the answer! It's SO damn nice! Whew.... I love it! ;) I'll post some sound clips tomorrow! I was worried because that's a BIG muffler! Significantly bigger than the stock raptor muffler, but it fits in there like a glove.

Now I have that little Magna-flow muffler to sell! :)

Hi guys! So Sorry for the long delay in posting! Here's a few updates and clips.

1. Absolutely LOVE it!

2. Best thing I ever did was pay someone to slap this on! Ha!

https://www.dropbox.com/s/11557k1be8e0bzc/IMG_5554.mov?dl=0 Before

Now, the before sounds BADASS! It does! Deep, growl, low, powerful... it's good! BUT, (to ME) it's just too much for me in the truck when I'm driving with all the shifting and constant drone. "I" wanted it to be nice and quiet, so that's what I have now.

Please know, that I didn't dislike the tone or "note" of the MagnaFlow. Again, I still think it sounds better than most others designed for this truck. I simply wanted it to be quiet because I got tired of the noise. It just wore me out as I got older is all. :)

I have the magna flow still and it's in great shape! I'll sell it if anyone is interested. Shipping will suck but it's available.

Enjoy.
